Tony Beets has quite a legacy on the Discovery reality series Gold Rush. That’s why it’s no surprise that his family is involved in the gold mining business. His daughter Monica Beets has become a proficient miner and television star in her own right. According to recent reports, Monica Beets has an estimated net worth of $1 million.

    Early Life

Monica was born to Tony and Minnie Beets on November 7, 1993. Her father is a professional miner, and her mother is a bookkeeper. She was raised in Dawson City, Canada, with her siblings Bianca, Mike, and Kevin.

Their family had a fifth baby named Jasmine, but she died at three months, according to sources. As for Monica’s education, she attended a local high school in Dawson City but didn’t attend university.

Growing up, she spent a lot of time learning about the family business as a child. Along with her brothers and sister, Monica was mentored by her father.

    Mining Career

The Canadian native began studying heavy machinery at 12 years old. She was already working long hours in her father’s mining company once she turned 16 years old.

Tony continued to coach his daughter eagerly. Because of this, many people call Monica the favorite child in the Beets family. Nonetheless, she had a lot of potential.

By 18, Monica had risen to become a supervisor at her father’s operations in Paradise Hill. However, she wasn’t included in her father’s reality show at the time.

    Joining Gold Rush

Monica first appeared on Discovery Channel’s Gold Rush in season two when the mining prodigy Parker Schnabel visited Tony Beets. Parker had a crush on Monica after their encounter.

However, she only became a recurring cast member in season five. She was introduced to viewers, dismantling the Viking Dredge and making progress at the Paradise Hill claim.

Because she worked as a supervisor, Monica stood out as she was the boss of men much older than her. She also gained a following on social media, with 112,000 followers on Instagram and 41,800 on Twitter.

    Net Worth and Earnings

It’s estimated that the entire Beets family is worth more than $15 million. Of course, a majority of the money comes from the patriarch, Tony. However, Monica also contributes a considerable amount to the family fortune.

Gold Rush cast members make anywhere between $10,000 to $25,000 per episode. Monica Beets hasn’t shared her per-episode pay yet, but reports say that she gets $200,000 every season. This is why her personal net worth is approximately $1 million.

    Personal Life

In 2018, Monica Beets married Taylor Myles. There have been some rumors the pair split up, but this appears to be false information. Monica and Taylor are still happily together. In 2021, they welcomed their baby girl to the world. The family reportedly resides in a beautiful home in Toronto, Canada.
