Real estate and entrepreneurship are common ways to become a millionaire in the US. This is exactly how Manny Khoshbin made his fortune and he isn’t afraid to show it off. Manny is the President of The Khoshbin Company, Inc. and the founder of Contrarian Academy. As it stands, Manny Khoshbin has a net worth of $80 million.

    Early Life

Manuchehr Khoshbin was born in Iran on January 14, 1971 and spent most of his childhood there with his four siblings. The family moved to California in 1985, initially they struggled and at one point were living in a car.

At 16, he got his first job at Kmart in Santa Ana, this helped him save $100 per week. Next he bought and sold dry fruits to earn extra money. The young hustler eventually got a job with a marketing firm and quickly became one of their top salesmen.

    Career Beginnings

He decided to start his own business but the venture didn’t last long. In 1991, he used all of his savings to buy a gas station at a generous price from a family friend. However, it turned out to be a scam, and Khoshbin  went bankrupt.

Manny recovered a year later, becoming a broker and President of Century West Financial. The real estate firm did well, and Khoshbin worked there for over six years. Sadly in 1995, he was involved in a drunk driving incident where his friend died.

In 1998, the rising businessman worked as a broker for Fidelity National Funding and became the firm’s President. In 2005, he became the chairman of The Khoshbin Company, Inc.

    Further Success

The Khoshbin Company went on to own and manage over 600,000 square feet of income-producing real estate. With this, Manny left Fidelity National Funding in 2008 to expand his property empire to 2.5 million square feet.

He branched out into publishing and released his first book in 2011, “Manny Khoshbin’s Contrarian PlayBook” revealing the secrets behind building a $100 million property portfolio. Khoshbin became the CEO of Fuzul, a marketplace that provides short-term jobs in local communities.

Contrarian Academy is his most recent venture, it’s a course on commercial real estate. Furthermore, he has been uploading videos to YouTube since 2015. Manny’s content is mostly about his car collection and lavish lifestyle. Currently, the Iranian-American has over 1.66 million subscribers.

    Net Worth and Earnings

His YouTube channel attracts around one million views per month and makes an estimated $60,000 in annual ad revenue according to SocialBlade.com. However, it’s safe to say that this is not his main income source. Manny uses YouTube as a platform to promote courses and makes millions using this strategy.

Koshbin runs three companies: Fuzul, The Khoshbin Company, and Contrarian Academy. Fuzul doesn’t appear to be profitable but the other two businesses are his cash cows.

For Contrarian Academy, a price isn’t listed on the website but it costs around $10,000. On LinkedIn, he claims to have bought and sold $1 billion worth of real estate so he does have wisdom to share. He also earns royalties from three books.

In recent times, Ballerbusters on Instagram are accusing Khoshbin of being a fraudster and claim he isn’t as wealthy as people think. They question why he’s selling courses if he’s worth $80 million and have posted about various legal issues he’s faced. The account also warned that investing in commercial real estate might be tough due to interest rates rising.

    Personal Life

Manny Khoshbin married Leyla Milani in 2011 and the couple have two children together, Enzo and Priscilla. Their home is located in Newport Coast, California. It contains Manny’s impressive collection of supercars and watches. Khoshbin owns six luxury watches, and his cars are worth over $25 million.
