    Kevin Beets

Kevin Beets is a gold miner and television personality famous for starring in Gold Rush. Son of the legendary Tony Beets, Kevin has been in the industry since his early teens. While his father is nicknamed the “King of the Klondike”, Kevin is known as a “Prince of Mining”. Kevin Beets has built a net worth of $2 million.

    Early Life

Kevin was born in Arizona on June 10, 1988, and is the eldest son in the Beets family. Raised by Tony and Minniewas, he has three other siblings, Monica, Mike and Bianca. At 13, he began working in the mining industry and six years later, he was a supervisor for his father’s mining company.

During this time, he was studying at the University of New Brunswick for a degree in leadership. He returned to college to get a proper degree and studied computer science. Later, he returned to work for the family business.

    Career Beginnings

In 2011, Kevin Beets was challenged with his first major task, leading the Eureka Campsite for three years. Since he’s fond of working with heavy equipment, he became a master at operating machinery.

Other than that, he enjoys welding, mechanic work, and fabrication. Being a young miner, he preferred to use more modern means of dredging. At 33, he was doing a great job supervising a large group of miners. As a leader into tech, he uses his engineering skills to help keep dredges running to maximize their profitability.

    Gold Rush

Kevin’s Gold Rush debut came in season five in 2014. He started off working at the Paradise Hill Claim, one of the most successful claims in the Klondike. At the Clear Creek Claim, he was part of the project that disassembled a bacon strip machine and reassembled it at Eureka Creek Claim.

Since then, he’s appeared in over 190 episodes according to IMDB and is a strong supporting cast member. Kevin skipped season 14 of Gold Rush to take a year off to spend more time with his wife after moving into a new home. Based on his achievements, it’s evident that Kevin is hoping to follow in his father’s footsteps.

    Net Worth and Earnings

Typically, the main cast members on Gold Rush are paid $10,00 to $25,000 per episode. In addition, Kevin makes a steady paycheck working as a foreman and mechanic at Tamarack Inc. However, his exact salary hasn’t been revealed.

Nevertheless, it’s safe to assume that it’s a big factor in Kevin Beets’ $2 million fortune. In comparison, Tony Beets is worth a whopping $15 million! If the miner ever left the industry, at least he could fall back on his computer science degree.

    Personal Life

Even with how demanding Kevin’s job is, he has managed to maintain a healthy love life and is dating Faith Teng. There’s not much information online about their relationship, but Faith sometimes features on Gold Rush.
