    Peter Jones

Dragon’s Den is one of the longest-running reality shows of its kind. Its panel members, aka Dragons, are some of the wealthiest entrepreneurs in the UK. With season 22 ready to start again in 2025 some might wonder how much each of them really has in the bank.

    1. Peter Jones – £1.286 billion

Peter Jones is the richest by quite a considerable distance. He made his fortune by building an empire in different business categories. His most successful businesses include Data Select, Celsius Resourcing, and Wines4Business.com.

Jones started his entrepreneurial journey with a computer business that he later sold to IBM. After this, he launched a series of companies in entertainment, retail, property, and media.

Peter is the last original cast member on the show since Duncan Bannatyne left at the end of season 13. He has also featured as a guest on Shark Tank. Currently, Peter Jones has net worth of £1.286 billion according to Sunday Times Rich List.

    2. Touker Suleyman – £200 million

Touker Suleyman is a renowned figure in the UK’s fashion industry. He initially made his fortune with Low Profile Group and later acquired big-time lifestyle brands, such as Hawes & Curtis and Ghost.

He was introduced to the fashion business while he was working as a clerk in London. After founding Kingsland Models, Touker got to work with companies such as TopShop and Dorothy Perkins.

Suleyman didn’t join the show until season 13, but has been a regular since then. In the series, he has invested in companies including Bad Brownies, Timberkits and Liquiproof. The Sunday Time Rich List in 2016 estimated Suleyman to be worth over £200 million!

    3. Steven Bartlett – £71 million

One of the fresher Dragons on the show, Steven Bartlett is the co-founder of a social media marketing agency called Social Chain and the podcast host of The Diary of a CEO.

Bartlett dropped out of college after attending just one lecture, a decision that changed his life for the better. He taught himself social media marketing for his first venture, Wallpark but struck gold with Social Chain and exited the business in 2020.

Dragon’s Den made Steven part of the main cast for season 19 to appeal to a younger generation of fans. He’s come across as a confident but brash member. Although he is a new face, his £71 million wealth rivals that of the veteran Dragons.

    4. Deborah Meaden – £40 million

Deborah Meaden earned her fortune as the managing director of the holiday company Weststar Holidays. After steadily climbing the corporate ladder, she later sold some of her equity in 2005 for £33 million to Phoenix Equity Partners.

After trying her luck at modeling, Deborah started exporting ceramic and glass products. Her next couple of businesses failed and resorted to joining her family’s holiday company.

It led to her becoming an influential female entrepreneur and got an invitation from the BBC to join season three of Dragon’s Den. Meaden has invested over £3.3 million in 63 businesses as of 2021. She’s known as a cautious investor and has a £40 million fortune.

    5. Sara Davies – £37 million

Last but not least is Sara Davies, another newcomer to the reality series. Davies is the proud owner of Crafter’s Companion and a mentor for aspiring business women at the Entrepreneur’s Forum.

Sara started the supply company Crafter’s Companion while she was still in university. Davies progressively expanded the business, which is currently located in over 40 countries worldwide.

When she joined Dragon’s Den in season 17, Davies became the show’s youngest female investor. She is also among the richest, with a personal net worth of more than £37 million.
