Under the alias TommyInnit, he’s built a large audience due to his funny and energetic gaming content (mostly Minecraft-related). Tommy was born (April 9, 2004) in Nottinghamshire, England, to a well-established Christian family. He attended a local secondary school and studied film and TV at university. Since he was a child, he dreamed of pursuing gaming as a career.
Tommy’s father is a businessman by profession, and his mother is a homemaker. In January 2022, Tommy relocated to Brighton from Nottingham and hasn’t looked back. The seaside resort is the perfect location as it’s close to London.
YouTube Career
The young gaming enthusiast started a YouTube channel at 12 years old, and named it Channelnutpig. Some people bullied him for the name, so he later renamed it to Tom and made it private.
He began streaming on Twitch in mid-2017, playing games such as PUBG and Fortnite. Within a year, he had 2,000 followers and this gave him the confidence to start the TommyInnit YouTube channel.
By creating a lot of Hypixel Skyblock content, TommyInnit’s channel went from 4,800 to 66,000 subscribers in two months. At this time, he was one of the fastest growing YouTubers. Over the next three months, he grew his followers through uploading consistently. As of March 2024, his main YouTube channel has grown to 14.7 million subscribers.
Girlfriend
For years not much was known about his relationship status. Over time he’s opening up more. In November 2022, Simons revealed to fans he is dating a girl named Molly and she appeared in a video on 7 May 2023.
The young brunette seems well equipped to deal with Tommy’s chaotic personality and is an avid gamer. For privacy reasons, Molly’s surname has been hidden. Potentially, they’ve been dating for over three years. A similar looking girl with dyed blonde hair appeared in an older video.
