Xiaomi unveiled the Mi Notebook Pro in Beijing, ahead of Apple’s iPhone event.
The Mi Notebook Pro sports a 15.6-inch display and is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor and has up to 16GB RAM with a Nvidia GeForce MX150 chip. The company said that the Mi Notebook Pro is way more powerful than its Mi Notebook Air which was released last year. It also comes with two USB-C ports, two regular USB ports, and an HDMI port. The Mi Notebook Pro also includes a fingerprint reader built into the trackpad, a headphones jack, and Harman Infinity speakers, and Gorilla Glass 3 on the screen.
The Mi Notebook Pro will be released later this year, and the laptop comes in three different models: the 6999 yuan (around $1070) model comes with an i7 chip with 16GB of RAM, the 6,399 yuan (around $990) model comes with an i7 chip with 8GB of RAM, and the 5,599 yuan (around $860) model comes with the i5 processor. The laptops will be available in China on September 15.
