Since its inception, Impractical Jokers’ has left its audience breathless with its hilarious antics. The show’s premise is based on cast members competing in a series of increasingly outrageous and risky tasks, with the loser receiving a lenient punishment.
The team of Brian Quinn, James Murray, Sal Vulcano, and Joe Gatto took comedy to new heights on this show. Regrettably, Joe left the show at the end of the ninth season. With the former cast member missing from the show’s specials series, fans have wondered what Joe has been up to since he left the show.
Why Did Joe Gatto Leave Impractical Jokers?
On new year’s day, the comedian took to Instagram to announce his exit from the show, citing personal reasons. He revealed that he was leaving the show to focus on his family and co-parenting efforts following his split from his wife.
Although neither one gave a reason for the separation, the Impractical Jokers star and his estranged wife, Bessy, sparked reconciliation rumors some months later when they were seen together with their children.
Joe, however, assured his fans that his friends would continue to make them laugh without him. From the emotional response to his post, it was clear that the joker’s absence would be particularly remarkable due to his daring and witty personality. True to his words, Joe has been spending ample time with his children and intensifying the efforts of co-parenting with his ex-wife.
Will Joe Gatto Return To Impractical Jokers?
Joe was arguably the most energetic of the quad, so it is understandable that Impractical Jokers fans are still mourning his exit and holding out hope that he will return. Since leaving the series, fans have had mixed reactions to the show, with some suggesting that the show will be a failure without him. Like the fans, his co-stars were appalled over his departure, but as good friends would do, the trio supported his decision, highlighting that Joe won’t be replaced.
However, it does not look like the Impractical Jokers alum will return to the show. In his post on January 1st, he made it clear that he would be focused on being the best father and co-parent to his two children, Milana and Remington.
What Is Joe Gatto Doing Now?
Although Joe has left the Impractical Jokers, the comedian still wears many hats. The TV star got to work immediately with his comedy tour A Night Of Comedy With Joe Gatto. The tour, which started in January, closed its curtains in October with a final performance in South Dakota.
Aside from his comedy tour, the 45-year-old co-hosts a podcast, Two Cool Moms with Steve Byrne, where they hilariously trash out strangers’ parenting challenges the way moms would. The podcast, which debuted in February, boasts an average of 10000 listeners across various platforms.
To gladden the hearts of his fans on their special days, the TV star also offers his services on the Cameo platform, where he takes requests for personalized videos and messages at a price.
