Rosanna Pansino is an American YouTuber, entrepreneur, author, and performer. Since 2011, the talented baker has presented a cooking show, Nerdy Nummies, making her one of the highest-paid female content creators on YouTube. Thanks to her large following, she was able to publish two books and launch a baking line. As of 2023, Rosanna Pansino has a net worth of $12 million.
Early Life
Born on June 8, 1985, Rosanna was raised in Seattle, Washington and grew up alongside her sister, Molly Lu. Her family are of Italian, Croatian, German, and Irish descent. Growing up, friends and family referred to her as a nerdy kid.
She suffered from dyslexia which made school tough but always had baking to fall back on. Her grandmother and father were the ones who inspired her to cook. After graduating from Pacific Lutheran University, she came to LA to follow her dream of becoming an actor.
Acting Career
In 2008, Pansino made her TV debut in the second season of VH1’s reality show Scream Queens. She came in 9th place on a reality show and in the meantime earned an appearance in one of the Saw movies.
Thereafter, Rosanna starred in minor roles on television shows but never got a star role. This included parts in Glee, Warren the Ape, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
In 2010, she landed a role in the short film Star Trek: Phoenix. Rosanna also got involved with voice acting to help pay the bills, she lent her voice to Violet in the animated online series Broken Quest.
YouTube Career
Just as she started out acting, she created a YouTube account in 2009. Viewers began to request more after her initial baking videos garnered a large audience. To satisfy their hunger, she developed the Nerdy Nummies series.
It quickly became a hit, bringing Rosanna widespread exposure and accolades. In 2013, her YouTube channel had more than 3 billion views, making it the most popular cooking channel at the time.
Along with five Streamy nominations, she received the Best Foodie title from Shorty Awards. Her channel now has over 14.4 million subscribers.
Other Ventures
Rosanna Pansino has also ventured into making music. Kurt Hugo Schneider produced her first song, “Perfect Together,” which was released in 2015.
Pansino went on to write The Nerdy Nummies Cookbook and published it in 2016. The book features recipes that were previously demonstrated on Nerdy Nummies. Two years later, she wrote her second book.
She introduced a baking line in August 2017 in conjunction with Wilton, a cookery brand. They sell kits with cooking items geared toward beginners. According to CNBC, the YouTuber star makes over $6 million per year from YouTube ad revenue and brand deals.
Personal Life
Rosanna still lives in LA and revealed in 2018 that she is dating Mike Lamond, aka Husky, a renowned esports pundit. They’ve been in a relationship for 10 years now and haven’t started a family yet.
