The Rayman series from Ubisoft has found a lot of fans across a variety of platforms over the years. Now, a new platform will be added to the list of consoles that you can play the game on. Rayman Legends will be available for the Nintendo Switch on September 12.
Rayman Legends is the fifth, and most recent, game in the Rayman series, which has been around since way back in 1995. This is not the first time legends has been available on a Nintendo platform, as when the game was released for the first time back in 2013 it came out on the Wii U. Four years is a long time in the video game world, though, and Switch is a very different platform than the Wii U is. This new release is coming out under the title of Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition, and a free demo will be available later this summer.
On the Switch, up to four players will be able to compete at the same time, and there is an exclusive wireless local multiplayer experience called Kung Foot mode. There will also be a new and exclusive tournament feature. While Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition is just a revamped version of a game that has been around for a few years, Switch owners will likely still enjoy having the opportunity to take Rayman and friends out for a spin.
