Nas Daily is a popular Arab-Israeli vlogger famous for creating 1,000 short vlogs in 1,000 days. After completing this milestone, he started other business ventures including Nas Studios and Nas Academy. Due to the popularity of his videos worldwide, subtitles are provided for non-english speaking viewers. As of 2024, Nas Daily has a net worth of $5 million.
Early Life
Real name Nuseir Yassin, he was born on February 9, 1992, in Arraba, Israel. Yassin’s family is of Palestinian descent and he is one of four kids. His parents are well-educated, his father works as a psychologist and his mother is a teacher.
At 19 years old, he earned a scholarship to attend Harvard University. Although he planned to study aerospace engineering, the Israeli teen ended up studying economics and got a minor in computer science.
His programming skills helped him co-found a search engine and a pay-it-forward registration tool. In 2014, Nuseir graduated with a bachelor’s degree.
Rise to Fame
Fresh out of university, Yassin landed a role as a software engineer at Venmo. However, he wasn’t truly satisfied with his work life and quit after two years. In 2016, he began traveling the world and filming his experiences.
He uploaded them to his Facebook page, Nas Daily with the goal of uploading a one-minute video for 1,000 days. In every video, he wears the same shirt with a loading bar. It represents his current age, and he sells a similar shirt design in his merch store.
Nas Daily soon shared his clips on other platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Currently, he has over 40 million followers spread across all the major social media sites with Facebook being the most popular.
Further Ventures
In early 2019, Nuseir’s 1,000-video journey came to an end, but he didn’t stop making content. Next, he began creating one video per week to make time for new business ventures.
He wrote a memoir titled “Around the World in 60 Seconds” and launched Nas Studios, a video production service. He created Nas Academy, a program for people looking to break through as a content creator. If accepted, the course will cost you $1,000 per month or $2,000 in total.
However, not every venture has worked out well. In 2022, the viral sensation bought $500,000 worth of Bitcoin. Not long after, the cryptomarket plummeted and was down over $200,000 at one point. Hopefully he didn’t sell!
Net Worth and Earnings
According to a blog post on NasAcademy.com, Nas Daily makes $400,000 to $500,000 every month. Around $150,000 of that figure is from ad revenue on YouTube and Facebook. Nas Studios charges anywhere between $10,000 to $70,000 per video for a production project.
However, his biggest income sources are brand deals and speaking gigs, which generate around $200,000 per month. In an interview with Silicon Valley Girl, he revealed around 3% of his videos are sponsored. Nas has undisclosed earnings from book sales and Nas Academy. Even so, Nuseir himself confirms that his net worth is $5 million.
Currently, he employs 33 people in Asia and the monthly payroll is $130,000. Offices, rental and equipment costs around $30,000 to $40,000 per month. This may sound like a lot, but if he hired people in America, the costs would be significantly higher.
Personal Life
Nuseir Yassin is married to Alyne Tamir, who has been a big help in building his online presence. Aside from assisting her partner, Alyne also makes videos. They’ve been together since 2017. The couple once lived in Singapore, but are now in Dubai, UAE. As Dubai is a tax-free country, he can keep more of his earnings!
