Microsoft has announced this month’s update, and it offers plenty of new features like being able to upload custom Gamerpics to your profile, Mixer Co-streaming is now available, and you can sign-in to your Xbox One by pressing the Xbox One button on your controller.
How To Co-Stream On Xbox One
The latest update adds the ability to co-stream on Xbox One. This means you can easily you and three of your friends can stream together in a single broadcast. To invite a friend to a co-stream, all you need to do is go to their profile and select ‘Invite to co-stream.’ If you’ve been invited to a co-stream hold the Xbox button and you can accept the invitation. By going to the ‘Mixer-tab,’ you can see a list of members broadcasting on Mixer.
Sign In With Your Xbox Controller
If you happen to share your Xbox One with family members, you’ll be able to link your profile to a specific controller. “Once linked, we’ll sign-in to your Xbox with that profile when that controller turns on, and you’ll be ready to play,” writes Major Nelson, Director of Xbox Programming at Microsoft.
Xbox App On iOS And Android Gets Update
The update also adds the ability to share Looking For Group requests on the Xbox iOS and Android app. The Xbox app on Android is also getting Chat Bubbles. When you receive a new message, a chat bubble will open for that conversation. You can easily turn off Chat Bubbles by going to “Settings”, selecting the “Notifications” tab located at the top, and disable Chat Bubbles.
