Kyle Forgeard is famous for being the co-founder and leader of NELK, a YouTube group and entertainment company. The content creator burst onto the scene as a prankster but has developed into a shrewd businessman. Forgeard is the brains behind the brand Full Send Entertainment since 2015. Currently, Forgeard has a net worth of $10 million.
Early Life
Kyle was born on July 12, 1994 in Mississauga, Ontario and was raised by his parents, Rick and Gayle Forgeard. He also has a sister named Chantal who works as an Ad Operations Coordinator at Cossette Media.
Young Kyle attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel and later studied filmmaking at Ryerson University. During this time, he created NELK with twin friends, Marko and Niko Martinovic. The aspiring creator dropped out to focus on YouTube.
YouTube Career
NELK was formed in 2010 and from the start, they were all about pranks and vlogs. They created content covering collegiate culture and made videos of the group’s party lifestyle and their classic stunts.
The channel’s growth was slow at first and it took five years to gain real traction. Forgeard’s first breakthrough came with a video pranking cops claiming they had coke in his vehicle. The group continued uploading similar videos and NELK now has 8.07 million subscribers with over 1.5 billion views!
Full Send
The Nelk boys are also known for popularizing the phrase “Full Send,” which became the name of their entertainment brand. Forgeard revealed it essentially means, whatever activity you do, give it your best.
Forgeard and his buddies are the owners of the Full Send clothing line and it did over $50 million in sales in 2020 alone. The group also own the Happy Dad hard seltzer company.
As one of the main faces of NELK and Full Send Entertainment, Kyle regularly co-hosts the Full Send Podcast. Donald Trump, Mark Cuban, Elon Musk, and other notable individuals have appeared on the show.
Earnings
Kyle and his colleagues (SteveWillDoIt) make about $100,000 per month from YouTube ad revenue. However, the channel doesn’t have a good relationship with YouTube, which has demonetized several of their videos. YouTube is only a minor income source now.
The NELK boys make around $70 million every year from merch sales. Also, in an interview Forgeard stated that the Happy Dad seltzer brand is worth $250 million. Thanks to these ventures, Forgeard was included in the Forbes 30 under 30 for social media.
The Nelk Boys have jumped into the NFT space, the group made a whopping $23 million with their Full Send Metacard project in 2022. Based on its success, they will get back into crypto when the industry recovers.
Personal Life
Kyle is private about his personal life but it is known that Forgeard is single at the moment. Another rumor about him is having veneers after a podcast with Mike Tyson but this was never confirmed.
