Early Life
Hailing from College Park, Georgia, Kandi Lenice Burruss was born on May 17, 1976. She is the only daughter of Joyce Jones and a reverend named Titus Burruss Jr. She had a brother named Patrick Riley who sadly passed away in a car crash.
At age 15, she made her media debut at the BET youth talk show Teen Summit. Around this time, Burruss was honing her entertainment skills at Tri-Cities Performing Arts High School.
