A lot has changed since Jorge Nava appeared on 90 Day Fiancé. The show detailed Nava’s complicated relationship with his ex-wife, Anfisa Arkhipchenko. While Nava’s marriage was hanging by a thread, the reality star had a run-in with the law and served time in prison. Since his brush with the law, Nava has become a different person.
Jorge Nava Spent Time In Jail
In February 2018, the reality star was arrested by law enforcement agents after being caught in possession of a large amount of high-grade marijuana. Nava was charged with possessing and intent to sell illicit drug substances.
In September 2018, Nava was sentenced to two years and six months after pleading guilty to the charges. Fortunately, the 90 Day Fiancé star secured an early release from jail in 2020, barely two years into his sentence.
Jorge Nava Got A Divorce
When Nava married Anfisa Arkhipchenko, fans of the show thought the couple was not compatible, and they were right. Shortly after regaining his freedom, Nava filed for divorce from his Russian wife, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending the marriage.
According to Nava, Anfisa abandoned him when serving his sentence, but she claimed otherwise. Per Anfisa, the wedding was rocking on stormy waters and was on the verge of collapse before he was incarcerated.
Weight Loss Journey
Being locked up was not all bad for the 90 Day Fiancé star. Nava went on to have a dramatic weight loss, losing an impressive 133 pounds. In an interview with ET, Nava explained that being in a confined space changed his mentality and inspired him to change his appearance. “I read a book, and what I learned from it, it kind of gave me the motivation to change myself,” he shared.
Finding Love Again
Not everyone gets to find love again, at least not in quick succession, but Nava lucked out on that front. Once he filed for divorce from his ex-wife, Nava went Instagram official with his new beau Rhoda Blua. In 2021, the lovebirds welcomed their first child Zara.
Barely a year later, the couple expanded their family with the birth of a second child. In August 2022, Nava and Blau took their relationship to the next level. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas.
Started A Business
Talk about turning lemons into lemonades! Nava is not allowing his stint in prison to halt his future plans. After his release from prison, Nava shared his plans to get back into the weed business.
Although this time, the reality star hopes to run his business legally and only for medicinal purposes. Asides from his big dreams with marijuana, Nava launched a clothing line that includes a variety of branded T-shirts and hoodies.
