The Incredibles 2 official trailer is here.
Disney’s superhero movie was originally released in November 2004, which fans have been waiting for more than 13 years for the Parr family return to action.
In the first teaser trailer, Jack-Jack, Bob and Helen Parr’s baby, tests his incredible powers. Baby Jack-Jack has laser vision, can turn himself into a flame, and walk through objects. “You…have…powers! Yeah, baby!” says Mr. Incredible, while holding his baby. He realizes that Jack-Jack is more powerful than he could have ever thought.
The Incredibles 2 picks up soon after the first movie, where everyone’s favorite superheroes Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson), Elastigirl (Holly Hunter), and Violet (Sarah Vowell,) battle against The Underminer.
The Incredibles real battle would be to figure out how to live a “normal” life day-to-day. The film’s synopsis reads: “It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.”
Director Brad Bird told Entertainment Weekly, “Hopefully it’s the same characters and feel, but going in a new direction,” Bird added. “I mean, that’s the trick with a sequel. It’s repeating yourself, without repeating yourself.”
Disney/Pixar announced the squel in 2014, but switched the release date to 2018.
Incredibles 2 hits theaters on June 15, 2018. Watch The Incredibles 2 first teaser trailer below:
