Early Life
Iman Gadzhimagomedov was born in Dagestanskie Ogni, Russia, on January 3, 2000. Raised by a single mother, his biological father was an alcoholic and left before he was born.
They struggled financially until his mom remarried, and relocated to London. There, everything changed, they lived in a nice home and he enrolled in a private school.
However, the good times didn’t last too long. At 14 years old, his stepfather left, and it was up to him to take care of his mother. He took various odd jobs to pay the bills and later decided to drop out of high school.
Early Career
Iman’s first venture was buying and selling Instagram accounts but it failed to make worthwhile profits. He turned to fitness training and later joined a semi-pro football league. Here he was hired to manage the football club’s social media.
This accidentally became his most profitable business. Several months later, he pitched his services to the popular fitness app, Aflete, and they agreed to hire him. This was a huge coup for Gadzhi and he dropped out of school to dedicate more time to the business.
