Sony has announced June’s six free games for PlayStation Plus members and…well, everyone likes zombies, right? June’s featured games are Killing Floor 2 and the full season of Life is Strange for PlayStation 4.
The PlayStation Blog describes the games thusly: “Killing Floor 2 is a first-person co-op zombie shooter set in the immediate aftermath of Killing Floor. Tasked with descending into continental Europe to combat the outbreak of the zombie virus, players will form groups of up to six and work together to eradicate the undead and save civilization.”
“From there, rewind a bit with the excellent five-part episodic adventure Life is Strange. Follow the story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers she can rewind time. Here’s the catch: changing the past can greatly impact the future. See for yourself why this one racked up critical acclaim and numerous awards.”
The relatively new (released November 2016) Killing Floor 2 earned a very respectable 75 percent from Metacritic, making it an excellent addition, especially for gamers who just can’t get enough of using the shambling undead for target practice. And Sony isn’t kidding about the critically acclaimed Life is Strange – it has a Metacritic score of 85 percent. Considering that a new Life is Strange game is in development, this is a great chance to catch up on what you’ve missed.
