Dax Randall Shepard was born in Highland Township, Michigan on January 2, 1975. His father, David Robert, worked as a car salesman, while his mother, Laura LaBo, was a General Motors employee. He has an older brother named David Jr.
However, his parents got a divorce when he was just three years old. Dax’s mom became an established racetrack businesswoman, and he worked for her when he was 14 until he turned 18. He had three stepfathers and one half-sister named Carly.
