Christina Hall (formerly Haack) is a real estate investor and reality television star. She rose to fame through appearing in the HGTV show ‘Flip or Flop’ with her ex-husband. Later on, she got the chance to appear in the show’s spin-off series titled ‘Christina on the Coast’. As of 2023, Christina Hall has a net worth of $25 million.
Early Life
Christina Meursinge Haack was born in Anaheim, California, on July 9, 1983 and has a younger sister named Carly. In her hometown, she attended Canyon High School. After high school, the young woman pursued a bachelor’s degree in business and design.
After graduating, she immediately started working in the real estate business. This was how she met her first husband, Tarek El Moussa. Together they built a small real estate empire.
Real Estate Career
The pair established a real estate firm called Tarek and Christina: The El Moussa Group. The pair teamed up with real estate investor Pete De Best and paid $115,000 for their first home in Santa Ana, California.
They refurbished the property, sold it, and made a $34,000 profit flipping it. Eventually, the two expanded their house flipping operation to Arizona and Nevada. The couple also launched a construction company to expand their business.
Tarek and Christina were thriving until the 2008 stock market meltdown, which caused many real estate investors to go bankrupt. They lost almost everything but fortunately were able to make a strong recovery in 2010.
Joining HGTV
With the help of a close friend, Tarek recorded a video of the house flipping process from beginning to end in 2011. They sent the clip to HGTV as an audition tape and it ended up in the hands of officials at Pie Town Productions, a production company.
In 2012, the couple formally struck an agreement with HGTV. The following year, ‘Flip or Flop’ premiered on TV. The El Moussas would buy properties, which were mainly middle-income houses in Orange County, to flip for quick profits
The series aired for ten seasons, ending not long after the star couple split up. In 2019, Haack appeared in the spin-off ‘Christina on the Coast’ but this time around, she is doing it on her own.
Net Worth and Earnings
Christina Haack was paid a modest $10,000 per episode in the early seasons of ‘Flip or Flop’. By season three, her salary per episode increased to $40,000, for a total of $600,000 for every season.
Her earnings were boosted to $50,000 per episode after landing her own series on HGTV. However, this isn’t her only income source since she keeps the profits from the homes she successfully sells. This is why her wealth is estimated to be $25 million.
Personal Life
Christina and Tarek El Moussa were married from 2009 to 2018 and have two children together. Christina married TV presenter Ant Anstead in 2018 but got divorced for a second time in 2021. Recently she married realtor Joshua Hall and resides in a luxury suite in Dana Point, California.
