Chrishell was born on July 21, 1981, in Draffenville, Kentucky. Her name originates from the day her mother was in labor in a Shell gasoline station. An attendant named Chris helped her. Chrishell is a combination of the attendant’s name and the gas station.
She is one of four children and her eldest sister, Shoda, is another reality TV star. Their family was very poor growing up and they used to live in a trailer park. In the seventh and tenth grades in high school, Stause was homeless for a while.
