The New York kid spent most of his childhood in Port Washington, where he attended Paul D. Schreiber Senior High School. Before graduating in 1982, he served as the school’s student council president.
He studied economics at Tuft University. After earning his bachelor’s degree, he worked on his Doctor of Law at Harvard Law School. Though he got a law degree, he never practiced.
In 1989, Scaramucci was hired by investment banking giant Goldman Sachs. The following year, he was fired but got rehired after two months. He was promoted to vice president of the firm’s private wealth management department.
He left Goldman Sachs in 1996 to co-found Oscar Capital Management. The company was acquired by Neuberger Berman LLC in 2001. Four years later, he founded the international alternative investment bank SkyBridge Capital.
It was his biggest project yet. In 2014, SkyBridge got the rights to the PBS financial news programs Wall Street Week, and Anthony was chosen to be the show’s new host. The same year, he became a contributor to the Fox Business Network along with the likes of Charles Payne.
Anthony’s first political pursuit was in 2008, when he raised money for Obama’s presidential campaign. He returned in 2016 by joining Donald Trump’s campaign, who chose him to be a transition team representative.
In 2017, he was named the senior vice president of the US Export-Import Bank. Later that year, he was chosen by Trump to be the White House Communications Director.
However, after 11 days, the president removed Anthony Scaramucci from his duties, stating that he was not disciplined enough. His official term ran from July 21 to July 31, 2017.
Net Worth and Earnings
