AirSelfie, the pocket-sized flying drone that captures high-quality photos and videos in midair, has received its first major upgrade.
Called AirSelfie2, the second generation device features an enhanced camera, boasts longer battery life, and an upgraded smartphone app, making it easier to share photos and videos with your friends and family members on social media.
“The AirSelfie2 is truly revolutionary when it comes to flying cameras. When you’re looking to capture life’s important moments, dramatic scenery or large group shots, you want a combination of best-in-class technology and ease of use. The AirSelfie2 delivers precisely that,” said Stefano Cabella, CEO of AirSelfie, during its press conference at CES 2018.
What’s the major difference when comparing the original AirSelfie and AirSelfie2? Previously, the original AirSelfie only came with a 5-megapixel camera and a 4 GB SD card; the AirSelfie2 now offers a 12-megapixel camera with 16 GB memory, allowing additional space for selfie obsessed pilots to capture more photos and videos. In addition, the AirSelfie2 comes in four different colors, including silver, black, gold, and rose gold.
The AirSelfie2 works with most iOS and Android devices. The cover acts as a charger, so it only takes 30 minutes to charge your flying camera.
The AirSelfie2 includes a pocket-sized flying camera, a powerbank recharging your device anywhere, a USB cable and a protective bumper. The AirSelfie2 drone will be available through airselfiecamera.com and most major retailers for $299.95.
