So if you ever thought to yourself while playing Mafia III, “Me, I really wish Lincoln Clay’s CIA handler, John Donovan was playing beside me,” then you’re in luck. The new downloadable content pack, Mafia III: Stones Unturned – out now – takes Donavan out of the motel room and puts him right in the action.
The DLC takes you from New Bordeaux to an island jungle location in a chase to catch former rival and turncoat operative Connor Aldridge and his mercenary army before they can find a downed military plane and its dangerous cargo.
A ton of new content awaits you in Stones Unturned, including never-before-seen areas of New Bordeaux and a brand new jungle environment. You and Donovan also get some new toys to play with, such as a vehicle-mounted turret, new fleet vehicles, and a couple of new outfits (the Jungle Camo garb and the Party Animal ensemble). A new ability – Sniper Service – also allows you to call in a sniper to quickly pinpoint and take out enemies from a distance.
Stones Unturned is the second paid DLC for Mafia III, following March’s Mafia III: Faster Baby! A third DLC pack, Mafia III: Sign of the Times, is in the works and will explore a mysterious cult in New Bordeaux.
The Mafia III base game is required to play Stones Unturned, and your game will automatically be updated with the DLC if you have the Deluxe Edition of Mafia III or purchased the Season Pass. Otherwise, you can buy Stones Unturned separately through the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, or Steam.
