DOTA 2 has been around for a few years now, and it has become one of the more popular MOBAs on the internet. However, just because the game is a little old, at least by the standards of the gaming world, doesn’t mean there aren’t new innovations to be had. It has been announced that a series of co-op story missions are going to be added to the game later this year.
The missions will be part of a new campaign called “Siltbreaker,” which is being broken into two acts. The first act is arriving later in May, while the second act will drop in July. If you own a 2017 Battle Pass, which will cost you $10 if you want to get one, will have access to the campaign.
The campaign will feature four players who will “undertake a cooperative adventure into the blackest depths of Dark Reef.” You can play with friends, or be paired up at random with other people who are looking to take on the campaign.
This is a little bit of a change from the way DOTA 2 usually works, but when a game has been around for this long, it makes sense to try and freshen things up a bit.
